Position: Full-time WordPress Developer

Job Description: As a full-time WordPress developer at SkyRanko, you will play a crucial role in transforming client ideas into fully functional and aesthetically pleasing websites. 

Responsibilities

1. Design and develop WordPress websites using themes like Elementor, Gutenberg, and WPBakery, or using a child theme.

2. Address website bugs or problems related to themes, plugins, or hosting environments.

3. Create responsive web designs for various devices and screen sizes.

4. Work alongside UX/UI designers to translate the design into a functional and engaging user experience.

5. Ensure website performance and optimization for speed and SEO.

6. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to WordPress websites.

7. Stay updated with the latest web design trends, WordPress updates, and emerging technologies to improve your skills and the quality of our work continuously.

8. Create and modify the child theme as per the requirements.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of WordPress and its ecosystem.
  • Fluent in HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Basic knowledge of PHP 7, Laravel, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Figma/PSD/xd to WordPress conversion. 
  • Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector
  • Understand core functionalities, theme structure, hooks, filters, and customization options
  • Familiar with page builders like Divi, WPBakery, Elementor, Guttenburg, etc.
  • Ability to customize themes and plugins to meet client specifications.
  • Basic database and hosting knowledge.
  • Familiarity with versioning tools such as Git

Educational Requirements:

Good to Have
Bootstrap 5, Tailwind CSS, and Experience in Speed Optimization.

Students are encouraged to apply if they possess the required skills.

We prefer professionalism over an academic degree.
